Questions & answers

Short answers about our products, billing and responsibility. If yours is not here, email us.

General

What does Infinite Service make?

Software for electric-vehicle charging, built on one OCPP engine. ChargePilot runs a charging network. TestPilot tests whether a charger really speaks OCPP. SimPilot simulates chargers, so you can build without hardware. HubPilot connects networks for roaming over OCPI.

Which chargers work with your software?

Any charger that speaks OCPP over WebSocket. Which OCPP versions are supported differs by product; each product page lists what works today.

How do I get help?

Email support@infinite-service.com with the email address on your account and what you were trying to do. A person reads every message.

Billing & refunds

How am I billed?

Paid plans are charged in advance, at the start of each billing period, in US dollars. Prices exclude tax.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How do I cancel?

Any time, from the billing page in the product. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then it does not renew. You are not charged again.

Can I get a refund?

No. All payments are final and non-refundable. That includes the unused part of a billing period, a plan you stop using, a downgrade, and a cancellation part-way through a period.

ChargePilot, TestPilot and SimPilot each have a free plan, so you can try them before you pay.

One exception happens automatically: if a payment is taken to start a charging session and the charger cannot start it, that payment is reversed straight away. Nobody pays for a charge that never began.

This does not affect any rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Responsibility

Are you responsible for losses caused by using your software?

No. Our software and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Infinite Service accepts no legal responsibility for any loss or damage arising from using, or being unable to use, our software. That includes lost revenue or profit, failed or interrupted charging sessions, damage to chargers or vehicles, lost data, and decisions made on the basis of our software or its reports.

You remain responsible for your chargers, your network, your customers, and for meeting the safety and legal requirements that apply to you.

Nothing here excludes a responsibility that the law does not allow to be excluded.

Is a TestPilot report an official certification?

No. A TestPilot report shows how your charger behaved in our tests when they ran. It is not an OCA certification, not a regulatory approval, and not a guarantee that the charger will work with any particular system.

Do you guarantee uptime?

No, unless an uptime commitment is written into a separate agreement signed with you. We work to keep everything running, but we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
